Mercury in November 2011

Mercury in November 2011
NASA Spacecraft “Messenger” continues to explore Mercury. Almost finished mapping the planet with a resolution of 2.5 km / pikc, the unit began a detailed survey of Mercury’s surface with a resolution 10 times higher! Last month, the focus of “Messenger” was Caloris pool, a huge impact crater, the bottom of which contains many interesting details. For the first time we can see so clear and detailed pictures of the surface of the planet closest to the Sun!
